Weeks 5-6 Recap

Peytons Forehead Shiner

After a 1-1 performance in Split 3, It’s unlikely he’ll get an opportunity to defend his title, but that won’t stop him from continuing to be a tough out. He’s officially put Justin Jefferson on the trade block. Will he relinquish such talent to a contending team? Or keep his most prized possession to secure the #1 pick in 2023.

Sledge Hammer

A healthy dose of win trading leaves him still perfectly balanced after Split 3. The next 2 may be pivotal in deciding if he’s able to take a playoff spot for himself. He has the means, he just needs to make it happen on the field.

Pull The Lever, Gronk!

Two more losses extend her losing streak to 4. With most of her team on bye week in the coming split, she thought best to not let the talent on her roster go to waste, trading a cornerstone piece of her franchise to a friendly contender. With luck, she’ll have Kupp back for a playoff push next year. It’s a disappointing year, but she’s more than capable of coming back stronger next season.

Odell’s Rusty Hip

The win streak continues for Valkyrie as she propels to 4-2.  With this success, she’s pushed her cards to the front of the table. A blockbuster trade has given her the rights to Cooper Kupp. Can she cash in her talent for a championship? Only time will tell.

Bradshank Redemption

While this has been a less than ideal season, she was able to hand the G-MEN a first loss of the season. Sadly, this looks like it will be the highlight of the year for Bradshank. An immensely talented roster on paper just wasn’t able to materialize through poor play and a slew of nagging injuries. It was championship or bust. Will she look to make any moves at the deadline? We’ll find out in Split 4.

Team G-Men

While his undefeated streak came to an end, he still holds dominant position of 1st place if he can stay winning. He goes up against a difficult foe also at 5-1. With a clear point advantage, can the G-MEN continue the storied run?

Is This Soccer?

He sits at an incredibly impressive 5-1. However, with middling points and the least points against, it leaves many questions about the strange, mysterious nature of this team. Ultimately, wins are wins. We’ll have to wait til the postseason to truly find out what he’s made of. For now, he’s looking like he’s punched his ticket.

Suh-Tang Clan

Consecutive losses and injuries in Split 3 have made his hold over a postseason bid much more rocky. He faces off against Thanos nipping at his heels in Week 7. To maintain position, he needs to come out of Split 3 undefeated.
