WEEK 2 Results & Week 3 Preview

Odell’s Rusty Hip

week 2 points: 199.0 | 4th Place - 2-0, 394.6 total

It’s safe to say that her kicker may have won her the week, with the help of an incredible performance from Lamar and the ever-consistent CMC, the 2019 Finalist moves into 4th place. She can’t get too complacent, but she may be one of the more consistent managers this year. She’ll need to recover from a slew of injuries to keep pace. The Ol’ Hip looks to finally crack 200 points in Week 3.

PEYTON’S FOREHEAD SHINER

week 2 points: 228.5 | 2nd Place - 2-0, 442.7 total Pts

Much like Kyler Murray’s fade-away jumper this week, Peyton pulls ahead with the highest point totals of the week in the 4th quarter of the final game. Prior to the MNF game, his write up wasn’t going to be as optimistic as it is now. He has the 41 point bludgeoning Aaron Jones handed to the Lions to thank for that. With performances like this being in the cards, other managers will need to catch up quick. If Alvin Kamara can finally get going to reinvigorate his 3-headed monster of a RB-core, he’ll likely leave any below him in the dust.

Is This Soccer?

week 2 points: 212.5 | 6th Place - 1-1, 355 total Pts

Scary Terry and King Henry saved what could’ve been another disastrous week for the man across the pond. Instead, a solid performance topped off a commendable victory this week. He’s still in 6th place, but another similar week could move him up a spot.

Sledge Hammer

week 2 points: 202.4| 7th Place - 0-2, 339.6 total Pts

While a second straight loss may not seem like a positive, he hasn’t lost any more ground. Some all around good performances gave him an impressive rebound from his abysmal start. A near 60 point margin and two hungry foes separate him from playoff contention. If he wants to truly move the needle, he won’t be able to keep playing a game of inches.

Pull the Lever, Gronk!

week 2 points: 227.3| 1st Place - 2-0, 457.3 total Pts

We try not to use profanity on this website. However, PULL THE FUCKING LEVER, GRONK!  With 2 tuddies from her franchise staple and a HUGE week from the likes of Kupp and Lockett, she’ll move into 1st place for the first time in her career. The only blemish is a moral victory, losing the total points battle for the week at the buzzer. Regardless, she sits atop Kuzco’s palace for now, hopefully she doesn’t drink the potion that will turn her into a llama.

Bradshank Redemption

week 2 points: 183.7| 3rd Place - 1-1, 429.1 total Pts

It’s hard to call this a bad week for Bradshank, but it’s certainly not the nearly 250 point behemoth we saw on Opening Day. Other than her defense and a quiet day from Amari Cooper, there’s nothing here worth raising the alarm over. She’ll fall back to 3rd, but she’s a long way from us discussing a fall out of playoff contention. Still, she’ll have to have a streak of games like this to be in any danger of losing her significant cushion.

Team G-Men

week 2 points: 162.1| 5th Place - 1-1, 369.5 total Pts

This week provided a significant step back after such an explosive Week 1 for the G-Men. Tom Brady lighting the fantasy world up for 5 TDs wasn’t enough to stop the string of disappointing performances that kept him from continuing his pace. He now falls back to 5th place, but not by enough to cause concern just yet. A strong Week 3 showing is needed so he doesn’t get leapfrogged by the 2 teams right behind him.
