Week 3 Results & Week 4 Preview

Odell’s Rusty Hip

week 3 points: 182.6 | 5TH Place - 2-1, 576.66 total

While the Rusty One was able to pickup a moral victory against her foe overseas, she returns to the homeland without CMC. His loss contributed to her fall from grace out of the top 4, albeit slightly. She’ll need her depth to carry her through this struggle and hold down the fort until her prize fighter returns. She takes on her struggling father this week, maybe a familial blood feud will set her back on the path to glory.

PEYTON’S FOREHEAD SHINER

week 3 points: 174.06| 3RD Place - 3-0, 616.78 total Pts

This week was a major setback for the 2020 Finalist, not even crossing the 175 point mark. The pros? This was likely the worst week we’ll see out of Peyton this year. The cons? He’s lost AJ Brown. Peyton’s receiving corp is reeling considerably with his top scorers off to some disappointing starts. He still holds a strong position in postseason contention, but he needs everyone to fire on all cylinders at th same time.

Is This Soccer?

week 3 points: 151.12| 7TH Place - 1-2, 506.16 total Pts

The Ol’ Chap wasn’t able to keep his pace from last week, having just of a disastrous week as Opening Day. He’s out of playoff contention by a considerable margin that seems to grow week after week. If he posts another sub-200 performance this week, it’s officially time to hit the panic button on our imperially-inclined friend.

Sledge Hammer

week 3 points: 247.26| 4TH Place - 1-2, 586.86 total Pts

To everyone’s dismay, Thanos snapped his fingers once again. While he’s officially in 4th place, he has a father-daughter duo just behind him. While it’s unlikely he’s able to gain such incredible pace again, he’ll need to match it if he wants to hold on.

Pull the Lever, Gronk!

week 3 points: 224.98| 1st Place - 3-0, 682.34 total Pts

It’s safe to say we’re at the point of pure domination from Gronk. Nobody is even remotely close to matching her production, let alone catching her. She’s just sitting back, relaxing all cool while her underlings fight for changing positions week by week. Could Peyton and Bradshank make some headway? Sure, but it could be Week 8 or 10 by the time that conversation would even occur. If Peyton is Iron Man, then Gronk is the Scarlett Witch. We’ll need both of them if we want to stop Thanos.

Bradshank Redemption

week 3 points: 197.46| 2ND Place - 1-2, 626.56 total Pts

While Bradshank took the loss, she actually gained a position, now holding 2nd place by a mere 10 points. With Dalvin Cook hopeful to return, it would appear she can hold onto this position for quite some time if she’s able to maintain her consistent point totals. Overall, there isn’t that much to say. Bradshank has fielded an incredibly reliable team through the first 3 weeks of the season.

Team G-Men

week 3 points: 189.22 | 6TH Place - 1-2, 558.72 total Pts

This wasn’t exactly the bounce-back performance that the G-Men had hoped for, however, there’s still some positives to take from this loss. He’s only 30 points back from playoff contention and he’s got the explosive pieces to do it. The only problem that remains is that volatility and overall lack of depth at key positions has bitten him before. We’ll just have to wait and see if he’s developed the antidote.
